Founded by principals Jim Judge and Andy
Fitzpatrick, Cambridge Consulting launched its operation as a
separate division of an established executive consulting and
recruiting business, The Cambridge Group in 1997. In 1999
Cambridge Consulting spun-off as a separate business entity focusing
on marketing consulting and staffing for technology clients.
Further expansion in North America led to the formation of Cambridge
Consulting Solutions, a Delaware corporation in
2000.
Jim Judge provides product marketing,
competitive intelligence, channel, and business
development consulting to leading high tech enterprise
computing, software and mobile communications companies. He has
spent most of the past 23 years working within business unit
start-ups, combining traditional business development, channel
development, and product marketing models with emerging Web 2.0 and
Enterprise
2.0
technologies.
Andy Fitzpatrick provides program management
and competitive intelligence and analysis consulting. He has over 25
years of marketing, sales, and business development experience in
the computer and consumer products industries. Over the past seven
years, Andy has focused on applying his classical marketing and
sales experience to various computer hardware, software, and
Internet related clients.
Since 2000,
Cambridge
has
focused entirely on the enterprise computing and software, internet
and mobility marketplaces. Clients such as Hewlett-Packard,
Microsoft and Nokia are among those that leverage the on-demand
expertise of Cambridge Consultants and our well-known Marketing
Real-Time brand.
We support all
our clients and consultants by providing topical information in our APEX™ newsletter, access to marketing
practices surveys, and a simple web-based project
engagement tool called the Cambridge Management
System
. The company also developed
the Real-Time Marketing Evaluator™, a
proprietary decision support software application to audit, assess,
identify and prioritize gaps in a firm's product marketing and
product management people and program capabilities.
Competitive Intelligence and Analysis services are also part of the
core interim marketing and consulting business.
Today we continue to grow and be a leader in
the use of innovative technology and methods for managing your
product marketing, product management and competitive programs. The Cambridge Consultant
Network maintains over 500 consulting partners that were introduced to a
Business Incentive Program launched in
2007. In 2008
plans are underway to launch new releases of
the Real-Time Marketing Evaluator™ and the
Cambridge
Management System.
