Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions with the largest network of partners and solution providers empowered to offer services including application development, integration and consulting that support its products.

Cambrdge became a Microsoft Authorized Vendor to provider product management and marketing services to MSN product business. Prior to the launch of its 2004 partner program, Microsoft engaged Cambridge in a successful pilot to audit and align Microsoft Registered Members, Microsoft Certified Partners and Microsoft Gold Certified Partners in its largest North American Sales District. Using the Cambridge Real Time Marketing Evaluator™ proprietary software application and auditing process, Cambridge was able to develop a plan for Microsoft to better align all enterprise software products, services and marketing programs with the right partners to reduce program costs and increase partner revenue opportunities.



Oracle Corporation
The world's largest enterprise software company, Oracle acquired BEA Systems the leading enterprise infrastructure software company. Together, Oracle and BEA provide a complementary best-in-class middleware portfolio that spans Java Application Servers, transaction processing monitors, SOA and business process management, user interaction and Web 2.0, identity management, business intelligence, enterprise content management and vertical-specific technologies.

BEA chose Cambridge Consulting to provide partner program development and management, helping it forge its largest strategic product and channel alliances with a large enterprise computing platform partner.

Symantec is a leading provider of information security and availability solutions that enable businesses to protect and access their mission-critical data, ensuring business without interruption.

When the storage products division (formerly VERITAS) launched an alliance with a leading enterprise computing platform vendor, it turned to Cambridge for help with the implementation in support of its sales, marketing and services organization. We provided it with ROI metrics for sales and product focus, a channel management plan and competitive market sizing and analysis on their UNIX business



Novell
A leading provider of software that secures and powers all types of networks to function as one, Novell offers its customers greater security while accelerating its customers' e-business transformations. Novell engaged us to do interim product management and product marketing for its advanced network operating system and middleware product Tuxedo, prior to its sale to BEA Systems.



Cisco Systems
Cisco Systems is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, creating end-to-end solutions that connect people, computers and networks everywhere. We provided Cisco with project management resources for a critical software product. We have also completed executive search assignments in its Product Management organization.

Iron Mountain Digital is the world's largest provider of data backup/recovery and archiving software as a service.

Cambridge has supported Iron Mountain Digital (formerly Connected) by providing executive level advisory services on M&A activity and strategic market analysis, and tactical product requirements planning. Cambridge was part of the senior management team and board presentation that evaluated new market opportunities in enterprise storage. The results of our product and market analysis led to the entry into the Email Archiving Market and eventual merger with Iron Mountain.


CommVault Systems
CommVault Systems, Inc., is an industry-leading provider of unified enterprise data management solutions to ensure high-performance data protection, universal availability and simplified management of complex storage networks.

During the pre-launch planning of the market-leading QiNetix™ platform, CommVault turned to Cambridge to evaluate its product marketing and management resource capabilities. In a matter of days, Cambridge was able to uncover critical gaps in CommVault's product marketing execution plans and make recommendations on people and program investments using the Cambridge Real Time Marketing Evaluator™ auditing process. RSA is the security division of EMC and the premier provider of security solutions for business acceleration. We provided project management services for its flagship security products as well as retained executive search services.



Network Appliances
NetApp business Spinnaker Networks turned to Cambridge to evaluate its product marketing and competitive positioning. Cambridge was able to uncover critical gaps in Spinnaker's channel marketing execution plans and make recommendations on people and program investments using the Cambridge Real Time Marketing Evaluator™ This helped Spinnaker greatly improve its market position which ultimately led to key strategic relationships and the acquistion by NetApp which became the NetApp ONTAP GX Operating System for high-performance storage clusters.
